It Keeps My Dreams Alive

Verses filled my notebooks
Desires started to grow
Thoughts I began to pen
Emotions steadily flow

Innermost feelings surfaced
Soul bared over pages
Etching with heartprints
Verses grew in stages

Calling upon my imagination
Helps from time to time
It keeps my dreams alive
Giving reason to rhyme

While the journey continued
The pages began to fill
Could it make me a poet
Perhaps one day it will

Siyo HopeS sigi it is very important that we keep alive the dreams and hopes that make us who we are.It is within these things that gentle caring grows,sharing with others helps them remember as well!
