* This is from the second book of poetry I've put together. I don't trhink I've ever posted it before...forgive me if you've seen it.

Some people are born  handsome
a gift to all the world
they show God’s grace upon their face
their angel wings unfurled
and some folks are born homely
but love can make them shine
they get the best from all the rest
and everything is fine

But you my friend are ugly
you have a funny mug
ears on your face, wide in their place
best suited to a jug
and eyes that are not matching
that wander all around
although they stare it is not clear
just what it is they’ve found

Yes you my friend are ugly
except for when you smile
except for where, you show you care
and wow them with your style
except for when you're laughing
except for when you talk
except for when you seethe or breathe
except for when you walk

I'll miss your smiles and laughter
I'll miss the gracious way
you shared the work and did not shirk
I'll miss the things you say
I'll miss the lunchtime talking
the way you fixed my plug
when life's a bore, one thing is sure
I'll miss your funny mug.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

This reminds me of what someone once
told my father...and we all had a
wonderful laugh!

True beauty truly does come from within.

With this compassionate and loving poem, your own beauty ~ and sense of humour! ~ is showing, Kethry!

She sounds wonderful! ~ as do you!

Loving Light,

AwKethry~
Thank you so much for this piece ...
I know we only met for a short while ...
but, it's nice to remember
that you remember my smile~

Just knowing that you care for me
is a treasure beyond compare ...
You see which eye is winking
and you don't even stare~

I love you too, my funny friend
our friendship is solid ...
until the very end ...
(and THEN, I'm coming back to haunt you !)

is this Kethry from so long ago who departed for what seemed too long, and then I departed for perhaps much longer?

Do you remember me at all?  I have one on page two, Autumnal Mist that is an extremely recent one for me...like this week, in fact.

More later after I've taken in your poem here.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Siyo Kethry I have met many who had sweet handsome faces and the heart of evil, beauty only lasts a short while, but goodness lasts forever!
