PERFORATED LINES

footprints
in the snow
leading
from a door

tracer bullets
marking
seams
in the sky

the buttons
of a blouse

the scar
stitches leave
along a wrist

coupons
in a magazine

everything clings
by the mercy
of our hands
along these
perforated lines

Fold at the dotted line, and see the lives fall.  I like the way you extended the metaphor in this one.  Well done.
