Fairy Blossom Shoes

Within the town of Rhondelleigh on Poppillary Street
There lives a little cobbler that is known as Stardust Pete
They say Ole Pete is magical, or so the story goes
Inside his tiny cobbler shop the fairy flower grows

The blossoms of the fairy plant grow beautiful and bright
They’re watered by the morning dew and fed by clear starlight
The petals of the fairy plant have very mystic powers
Midnight on the harvest moon is the only time it flowers

Ole Pete will take the petals and sew them in each shoe
And if you’re very good my dear he’ll sew a pair for you
Those shoes he makes are marvelous and when the laces tie
The person that is wearing them can walk into the sky

Above the trees and through the clouds these wondrous shoes will go
They’ll take you on a magic trip across a bright rainbow
Past stars and constellations you can walk across the skies
So many lovely things to see you won’t believe your eyes

Through the starry moonlit night on a stroll towards the dawn
A sparkling shimmer in the sky is made where you have gone
‘Cross fields of dreams and wonders with the fairies you will run
Chasing golden fireflies ‘til the rising of the sun

And when you're tired of walking and you wish to go to bed
These magic shoes will take you home to rest your sleepy head
So if you’re looking for some shoes to wear upon your feet
Then come with me to Rhondelleigh to see Ole Stardust Pete
