An Ocean of Thoughts

An ocean of thoughts lap my shore
That drains my sap down to the core
And I am drawn into the sea
To mourn once more iniquity

The line of waves flow figure eight
And I am pulled into that fate
I cannot stop the weave of turn
Nor can I stop the feel of yearn

I hear and feel the bells of toll
They vibrate in my very soul
And though I drag my anchors weight
It’s figure eight that holds my fate

And so I wait the sickles sweep
To cut me down like wheat of reap
And make of me the source to be
The essence of Eternals Sea

Yet an ocean of thoughts still lap
The sands of time that holds the sap

You my dear Sy are a mentor in how to live life to it's end. Each day you write with the sadness of knowing, and yet send cheer; and I am hard put to show my love for you. Letting you know your words are read every day that I can be on the computer and then I play catch up once I can be back. With the deepest admiration, martyjo
