I hasten to life’s great demands And leave my world behind thee. Awakened from his peaceful sleep He searches but can’t fine me. His little feet, they walk the floor A favorite toy in hand. O’ how I wish to keep him small And not become a man. I miss so much when I’m away My work, it chains and binds me. I long to see him smile and play, Without him what would I be? My day is done, it’s time to go At home he’s waiting on me, And with a leap to open arms At last my son do I see. |

I love this...and now that I am at a different school teaching first graders I see those little ones run to their dad's at the end of the day...very heartwarming. M |

My little one spins my world, there is no life without him. |
