Pure in Her Name

17 November 2006

Where was anger
but temporal in love.
To hold your hand,
to cast your smile.

Each happening, a new beginning,
this yesterday, the building blocks upon age.
Her soul, her forgiveness, mother Mary,
to Rachel born, a new start, a fresh being.

Her eyes, the patience from within,
her strength much more than outer skin.
The child, the child, her birthright made,
this gift of salutation, her triumphant reward.

Sweetness was her kind, hurt a day gone by,
to find this love, in all ways of caring.
Two into one, numbered in a book of life.
Maybe it was true, for together there was more,
to kiss her tender lips, and know her taste was pure.

"The way of man is froward and strange:
but as for the pure, his work is right."
Proverbs 21: 8 KJV
