She wondered if I trust you
was bewildered that it was true
and now I am wondering how you knew

trying to see through your disguise
shedding the light on all of your lies
as somewhere in the darkness a baby cries

justifying all your plans
i am holding out for someone
who understands
as I wash away memeories
in the sand

trying to just love again
happiness was my  only wish then

grieving for what hasn't begun
finding a way to stay
happy like the noon day sun
