What changes one so not to know In which direction they should go? What changes that one cannot tell? What deeds must they perform and sell? Expectations more than less Tomorrows, one can only guess The mind just like a twirling top Confused, not knowing when to stop It’s like a funnel, room on top To taper then until you stop And there you’re stuck as life goes by In wonder what is left to try Temptations and the easy way The paths of maybe yesterday For now a life is passed its prime With voices nagging all the time Midlife and the questions why New paths and more things to try Things to say and things of new Things that only we can do For what’s important in the end? Surely not each days pretend What’s the secret, what’s the end? What’s awaiting round the bend? Are there angels of the heart? Awaiting soul and heart to start Shouldn’t life be peace not dread? Before we wake to find we're dead |

Rick, my friend...I was wondering where you've been so good to see you you have come to write the about the same theme that I was relentlessly spinning around myself, at a time not so long ago and then, I moved to Kansas (though I am back in Florida now). Funny how life changes. Reasons change. Purpose is found. Hang in there. |

and Rick? one can never think too much thinking is good and much needed for these times in life. You may believe you are going mad with these thoughts but there will come a time where it will all come together. That or you will do something totally off-the-wall and spur-of-the-moment and your life will change |

Roniece, thank you so much for your reply, great to have you visit, much appreciated. Dear Dixie, great to be back for a while, nice to put something to paper and share with you, I am so glad you have found something new for yourself and things are going well, I have started a new job and things are going well at the moment, but sorting things out in your head is not an easy task, but day by day it gets better and with each more answers come and clearer I see, thank you for your reply my friend, I have missed you and our chats. To you both my friends, thank you for your replies. Sincerely Rick |

a new job? Congratulations that sure does wonders for the soul, it does! any changes, whether gradual or major ones that occur seemingly overnight, all work toward clearing the mind, in due time. |

Rick~ 'The mind just like a twirling top Confused, not knowing when to stop It’s like a funnel, room on top To taper then until you stop' Oh yes .. I've been that spinning top ... been the funnel too~ You pen the confusion of life's situations well~ Congrats on the 'new' news~ Nothing like new horizons to challenge the mind~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
