long ago
there was a hermit
who lived
on that island
in the middle
of the lake
his body may
have turned to dust
but not so his spirit
he did not eat much
nor did he sleep
but he prayed well
and deep
in his own way
then one day
he had a visitor
who listened to his prayers
and said that he was not doing it right
so the old hermit
tried it his way
yet with no success
as the man left to go back
across the lake
the hermit walked across the water
to the boat
to ask the man
how to do the prayers again
and the man told him
but the man failed to notice that
the man was walking on the water
it shows that if what you pray
is from deep within your heart
that it is heared
even though incorrect
the fact that the faith you
have makes it correct for you
when you do things that others do
it tends to be just a memorized motion
it is when you make the prayer
your own path of faith
that it truly becomes
a prayer of great power
there is a thought
recite your soul
not the printed word
for there are never misprints
witin your soul
now sit back
and pray from within
your self

i see what i write and write what i see
