Vision in a Gentle Flame

12 November 2006

The vision and warmth of a candle.
The light of my soul, your
beauty, as unto one heart,
in tranquillity made whole.

This day, this day of love,
an enslavement of amour.
Of your being, a nakedness,
the truth, of a brightness to adore.

An enlightening sky, across the world,
this place where no division can occur.
A fortune beside one another,
where burdens are never forsaken.

Because of harmony, a thought in a whisper,
this angle of true salvation, should that day come.
Maybe not tomorrow, or a day from next,
nevertheless a candle in your name.

The wax melting away any bitterness inside,
for then does enjoyment reflect that light.
The light of a candle burning, as unto
one heart in tranquillity made whole

"It's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."
Eleanor Roosevelt
(1884-1962)
First Lady and wife of Franklin Delano Roosevelt,
President of the United States of America (1933-1945)
