Nine/Eleven

It's been five years since terror came
From evil in the skies.
Using our own against us,
They were devils in disguise.

So many hearts were broken,
So many lives were lost.
We vowed to track the villain down
No matter what the cost.

He hides amongst the sandy dunes,
This puppeteer of might;
Pulling strings and sending brain washed young
To wage his fiendish fight.

We send our own to battle,
Love and honor as their shield.
Before this robotic enemy
They have refused to yield.

We can't be freed from awful dread,
And normal lives resume
Until this taunting, gleeful monster
Is hunted to his doom.

No other undertaking
Nor cause should interfere
With our aim to rid the world of him
Before another year.

Our prayers are with our soldiers
As in solid rank they stand
And give their blood and precious lives
To save us and our land.
