I’m an unpleasant person So I am told; First, a manipulative liar, Second, socially dire, Often coarse and sometimes cold The screaming maniac Lo and Behold! Who laughs at death and treachery But in my castle, Upon my hill Where evil plans are hatched, I sit alone, Upon my throne And my beating heart (The one of stone) Drowns in silent sorrow Because tonight, I dream of tomorrow – The love I’ll bring, To you I’ll sing, And away is washed My sorrow, For the kiss I hope to borrow… …For your sweet love… …Here… …Tomorrow. |

Hey Luke, I have another friend in Nottingham who also writes poetry but writes in the way of rhyme. Perhaps you should get together. You have an interesting rhythm but I like your style. Cheers Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Thanks - I felt maybe the last few lines didn't quite fit, and I must also apologise for posting this in the wrong forum. I expect teen poetry would have been apt. |
