   the past

we can't erase it

                  so

i'm going "Back to Basics"

            and face it

           like a man

our stasis could be overcome with your Big K

      sitting in my hand

reassuring me "Ain't No Other Man"

outwitting my masterplan

to see you happier than Garfield

while i'm cuddling your luscious pan

                of lasagna
