~The Sunrise End Of Mourning~

What has taken place
In the gray billows of before
Seem as conviction of the cosmos
A guided step to open door

Nothing of the past can change
Its shroud cast into stone
Yet all the glory soft and strange
Cupped quietly, as cherished known

Today becomes another chance
A gathered broth of happy taste
Into the mists my heart must dance
Without a second left to waste

I just read ” WindWalker’s”:   “How to Believe”……truly somethin’ I need to learn!......[believin’ in anyone or anything is my main ‘problem’ amid the ‘Runaway American Dream’!]

and now thanks to “ThisDiamond”  I also learn ‘bout a cosmos with conviction that one’s ‘past’ can be a cherished “anchor point” (of ‘certain certainty’)….a source of new courage to chance to dance in the mists of today (our only ‘clay’ of infinitely sparkling potentialities)  toward a fine tomorrow as yet powerless to be born...for time be short!

....another grand ‘write’ !......

So many fine poets on this lovely website are truly the
“children of Aurora’s sunrise” (‘Voices’ of that morning star!)

By these two poems (read back-to-back):  “How to Believe” and now
Kathy’s “The sunrise end of Mourning”.... and so much else I have read
(to date) by so many others in this ‘circle of friends’.....
I am deeply humbled and grateful!

So many fine lines in this...so much potent imagery... thank you.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
