Of Prickly Pears Today I eye a prickly pear And wonder of the do and dare A rose that sets a stem of thorn A corn that tweaks me till I’m worn She is a part the drums, a snare That plays me like a prickly pear Rings the cymbal loud and clear Until she squeezes out a tear The game to her is eat the fruit To get beyond the shell and root A dance that I am not to good If only this she understood A ballerina I am not Although I do a turkey trot I do my best to play her game Although each day it’s not the same I see and feel the fruit in bloom What worries me is it’s consume? |

A ballerina I am not Although I do a turkey trot I do my best to play her game Although each day it’s not the same I see and feel the fruit in bloom What worries me is it’s consume? ~*~ Toss it in in the fire's flame let the pricklies lose their touch Pull out the pear in another name enjoy fruit's labor, just this much! |

Hmm, I may be way off base here, but is Isabel's pain bringing out the thorns of her beauteous rose self, and the prickles on her personable pear? If I be right, during her recovery period, you may have to do some more dancing, Turkey! ~ Oooops! I mean, "Turkey dancing!" lol Loveya, T-Man! EA P.S. Forgive me if I am way off base with my interpretation. Give her a hug for me ~ but be careful!!! lol |
