a Saint-Exupery day |

I gazed out the wet window pane at relentless rain beating upon a weak opening. Yesterday, the very sound of it might have stirred deep feelings of regret, of love's loss and pain. But today it offers refreshment, the way it does a thirsty desert. Today is a Saint-Exupery Day! For I can hear him say over the thunder: "What makes the desert beautiful, is that somewhere, it hides a well." |

Your use of personified emotional metaphore is most wonderful, I like, yes! This desert is one that would have many foot prints, if the wind didn't whipe them away. I am the two-toed wanderer |

Excellent. We need more days where we seek the well instead of regret the sand. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Kacy’s ‘poetic well’ truly runs deep, fine, and clear!..... I cannot in any way ‘improve’ on the comments already made by several fine poets (on this lovely website) about Kacy’s poem (especially the comment from “Pilgrimage” ...any more than I could EVER write a better poem than this! [....tis a far, far better ‘voice’ heard here “over the thunder”...than the one that ‘spoke’ to me in ‘Time’s attic’...in my “Litanies in Time” write!] |
