It was mutually One of those occasions When conversation fails To be worthy of effect And the time involved So with a certain respect I kept his silence As he gazed at the trees— It still seemed after all A place he would know Better than I The smoke from our cigarettes Mingled with the leaves That fell so slowly Through the morning air We looked at the old houses Still mute in their sleep Where are you going I asked As he quietly began to fade Oh the same place as you He said with his eyes You’ll find out soon enough When you get there . |

"Day breaks turtle dove speaks out which way are you going? Not now little turtle dove must you scold me?? I woke to fuind my lover on his bed and my heart was sweet to excess!!!" Who was that again!!! I can't remember.. I loved the poem....I could visual every verse!!! Awesome!! KA |
