Tears, tears, and tears they fall, like an hourglass of sand, finally turning to ice—becoming the lava lamp-- all through those bound tears memories spring, and float forever upward, How can you be dead when you are in my tears-- naked in the sea, the morrow cometh alone Tears, tears, and tears they fall; longing for you to be solid in the fallen dream world. Nor can the heart take a walk, in the ribbon-tied melody, hearing the seeded waking moments-- and the synthetic tread of footsteps painting rivers in the mountains of my dreams, These ghosts be shapeless mortal visions-- take this flower fused with your scent still it grows without you. I have seen a world of fantasy, strung together with the hearts of others, In the hours of forever shall; their dreams forever live on-- so grim seems the skies that I’ve dreamt missing the placement of the puzzle piece, the passion haunts the blush-- not so do we tell of smiles in the still nought shall be made of a maiden blushing; be I the cause had I thought. O sigh the kissing is beyond me, the play in your eyes still moving through the acts, And I to say no sweeter do you look-- for I have taken you with faults Shall I lie and say you are born of perfection? Nay you are beautiful just look into my eyes-- you’ll see yourself reflected I’m looking at no other O now I hear you sigh; that happy sigh of love. Seated on the undergrowth of emotions, blue-bells, daisies, roses red, all scented with a perfume of tenderness-- ask me what is divine about the trances of the forest of our hearts entwined, And I shall say—beyond my knowing-- tears, tears, and tears they fall; longing for you to be solid in the fallen dream world. |
