little poofs of mist fresh berries from wooded trails right here in my room I can close my eyes and imagine a bluebird lets out a vague chirp |

Hm. You've got me perplexed. All I can fathom at this late hour is a puffy mushroom, but I don't think that is it! Well, nite-nite anyway. Am eager to learn what the answer is... Better yet, a wild grape? Better quit! Toodles. misc |

I'm guessing it's some kind of air freshener in a spray that brings the aroma of the outdoors right into your room. Anyway, I want what you've got! |

LOL yeah, it is a Wisp air freshener by Glade It 'chirps' when it puffs the fragrance...I don't really notice it though until I lay down to go to sleep. I'd rather have the scented oil fan plug in but my roommate says it will catch the house on fire. I just get tickled by today's technology |

dearest 'spirits that be'...I loved this 'lil poem!....particularly the 'vaguely chirpin' bird imagery!!... Although I fairly quickly figured out the 'likely inspiration' for it, for me it magically conjured other 'connections' as well... I also though your comment to 'Ms. Dixie' was great (I like your 'prose' too!) |

How nice. Of course Toerag's wife has a gas passer for free ... only the aroma is different |

Actually these are very good and much different from your others which would remind me of Sara Teasdale. The first suggests Issa, (after Basho), So many breezes wander through my summer room: but never enough The last somehow made me recall Basho's: The waters fade and the wild ducks’ cries are faintly white Really very good. In fact if you'll give me a name to associate with them and permission I'd like to include these in my Word file of poems by others I've collected over the years; they would be in very good company. John PS IMHO Never explain, place or date poems like these; it denies them their eternity. |
