My worldly belongings consist of three items. A television set, a cardboard box, and some nails. The people pass me by every day on their way to work, and they do not understand how I still find purpose in life. I mean come on, these three things, thats all I own. Let me explain to you what I really have. I have God's love. His son was nailed to the cross for OUR sins. I have shelter. The wind does not hit as hard as it would with out my box. I have hope. Hope that one day I will have some where to live, so that I can plug in my T.V. and see myself, telling my story. How I keep on going, day after day, after day. So really, I have more than you, The personal value of my belongings exceed the paper value of yours. ************************************************** In class we had riddles and then had to write a poem with the answers of three of the riddles in the poem. I used Cardboard box, nails, and T.V. |

It's interesting what a classroom challenge can bring out. I enjoyed the read. Guess you 'nailed' the assignment. ![]() |

Interesting, but veguely superficial. my philos' differs from yours; I'd rather have nothing and know that I don't even own my self. I am the two-toed wanderer |
