A Day's Confine

It takes a turn, a twist of fate
Reflecting now on future, late
With midnight dreams, those once displaced
A verse from eyes in search of, faced
With missions skyed, desires reach
To bridge that gap designed in teach.

Leaving behind the tragic of
Life's lessons ribboned, touched by love
Of more than self, a less of kind
A shaking up, exiled in mind.
A challenge here, be challenged there
Gifted each to weather where
The storms that blind and tend in doubt
Move on and leave the in when out.

A twist of words, those thoughts combined
Leave footprints in the left behind.

I love it!

I could say the timing of my own reading of this poem, made it even more touching to my heart.

Such beauty, especially when one can relate, or to have escaped depression and discovered happiness once more

a great feeling

it's almost a dance...alone or with a friend, but I can hear the music too.
