Dear Harlequin Such was our life together: dust and spider lilies, lace and cobwebs. We danced with shadows not yet cast to violins almost heard. Was it obsession or affection? I don’t think I ever knew. I’m sure you never cared. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

This is poetry distilled to its essence...even without the rhyme :P Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

"Was it obsession or affection?" That line really grabbed me, Pilgrim! 'Tis ofttimes the question. ![]() Loving Light, Linda ![]() |

A perspicacious poet and a perspicuous poem! I consider this work a precious ‘mix’ of lucid emotion directly expressed in ‘bare bones’ beauty....with the lovely, deep imagery of unrealized 'potentialities': dancin’ with dream-shadows to mute violins.....on the ‘razors-edge’ of the precipice....the ‘double-edge’ depths of certain uncertainties...love vs.lust;joy vs. pain.....the “lace and cobwebs” grand ‘mystery’ of all tenuous relationships courses through this one little poem! .....likely dejavu for most (or all?!) of us!..... grand applause from this humble poet to a fine ‘poetic Voice’! |

Kethry said it, dear one... distilled. Clear, pure, water with a kick... Thank you. |
