Reincarnated from a soul,
made beautiful by deeds
of a lifetime, warm,
thoughtful, loving, now metamorphosed
into the nonsuch of
a singing robin; burning
scarlet like the blood
of futile human wars.

The poem is exquisite in its entirety, however, I find the following lines to be most memorable:
