morning, glory

even this
frail
blue flower

opens
to the dew

knowing

a single
dawn

repays

what
the bees

will do

I love poetry that says so much in so few words.  You accomplish this well.

Ed...Life is a circle like that, isn't it...taking and giving back, again and again?  How beautifully you've said that and more, I love morning glories!

it's delightful
simple and unadorned
save the frail blue morning flower

passing shadows

Ed, that's lovely.  Delicate, even.

Tender hues, those morning, glories.  The words whisper and hummmmm!  Beautiful.

One of my favorite clinging vines...
and their colors...magnificent...

their petals...so fragile to touch...

a lovely morning, glory

to you...

I AM one, you know....

Yes, they're fragile, but once they get started, they last and last....you couldn't get rid of them, even if you wanted to.

Such a delicate touch~beautiful!

No spring, nor summer beauty
hath such grace...
As I have seen in one autumnal face.

I have a very soft spot for morning glories... *S* /main/forumdisplay.cgi?action=displayarchive&number=91&topic=002564

This, my friend, is absolutely beautiful... and yes... you are one... an unexpected gift that makes mornings worth greeting. *S*
