I thread my loom
with all I know of you
  your thoughts
  your dreams
  your insecurities
Each thread spun taut
as piano wire
tensed and still..
waiting.

I lay the weaving threads
before me.
Measured action
for reaction...

Stimuli
to spark a resonse.
I pick the first one up
with ever-gentle fingers,
fingers that have waited
far too long to tremble,
...as if nervous.

And carefully, so full of care
the task begins.
A glance ~
A blush ~
A smile and fleeting touch.
Each thread, as if a spider's
beckons to you...
catches you...
and draws you near.

I'm weaving a spell of seduction,
As my fingers draw each thread
  through crimson chords
I think of you...
And whisper prayers of passion
to a faithful Deity.
But instinct dictates pattern.
Experience, the style.

You'll never even recognize
     the multicoloured cloth I weave,
but when my scissors snip the final thread...

then you are mine.

This piece was awesome, the metaphors that you've used flow together so nicely. I was able to be put directly into “your” place as this as I read each word, thank you.

The poem, as the woven cloth, draws in

till the final

snip

So, that's how it's done? Now I know, what that flash was.....LOL

Nicely done, Enchantress.
