it is a matter of the stockholm syndrome does he hold me hostage or I him? I am stripped of beliefs bound by illusion or reality it is a matter of searching finding knocking opening when I open I always find his face and he finds mine in his eyes I stand posed looking over my shoulder asking permission like this? or like this? what pleases you? still I know he is not pleased until I am who looks over whose shoulder? this is not a matter of chance or choice this is a matter of necessity of delight of tabula rasa scraped clean written on again ignorant of original sin blissful in capture yet the heart asks who writes? it is only a matter of standing and asking like this? does this please you? |
