 * * * Do You enjoy me? Do you enjoy me when I walk tall, being aware of You expressing Yourself through me? Do You enjoy me? … when I inhale the scent of flowers wide open to the kiss of the sun? … when I smile back at the absolute beauty of a child’s smile? … when I open my arms to hug those who have forgotten tenderness? … when I let dewdrops caress my bare feet in the morning grass? … when I dance to life’s rhythms, discovering divine tunes all around me? … when I tremor slightly in response to love vibes directed at me? … when I shiver in delight to the caress of wind and water savoring my freedom? Do You enjoy me? … when I welcome the rain adding my tears of longing to the clouds’ shower? … when I dwell in memories of life’s most precious gifts to give thanks once more? … when I am full of desire to explore my passions without restraints? … when I create in the knowing that You create with me, opening my eyes to see? Tell me, do you enjoy me? * * * |

 (does happy dance) Oh Margherita, we enjoy you for everything you are, as it is exactly all that that makes you the special, golden-hearted friend we're all ever so lucky to have, as well as all the even smaller blessings that lace and decorate your heart every inch over! (angel friendship hugs) This is a beautiful poem that can both be read as a love poem and a friendship poem, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! My dear poet friends, Noah, Phil, Kacy, James, Dixie, Kate, Linda and Rae, thank you for all your loving replies. I was inspired to write this in deep gratitude to God’s presence in my life. Thanks to the growing awareness of our true nature, as God’s children, whatever we do, think or create assumes greater importance than ever. If we could fully awaken to this truth, we could never again act in thoughtlessness, maybe hurting others. When we see God’s presence in our neighbor, we have the great possibility to act out of Love. … so that He can enjoy us …. Love and Joy, Margherita  |

blush I tend to ask, "Do I annoy you?" But I think the answer to your question lies in the analogy of something along the lines of, say, when you plant seedlings or bulbs, and your garden is in full bloom, do you enjoy it?  I ask you, who could not? And further, we enjoy you. |
