Never there from the beginning,
Why do you think I need you now?
Being that you ran away when
she was pregnant or that
you didn't help her when she needed it.

Why do you think that you can
become part of my life
when half of it was spent without you?!
Why do you think that after the many
promises you broke I or we should forgive you?!
You say you've changed ...
Am I suppose to belive you?
You left huge hole in my heart
that can never be filled,
Open wounds on my
hopes and dreams
that can never be sealed,
Cuts and bruises on my spirit
will never heal.
Alot of things you missed out on because
you were there but not here!
A real man would accept his duties as a man
and do what he needs to,
But the word man must have a different
meaning to you!!
You don't write, visit, or call
We wonder if your alive at all!!
Sometimes I stay up at night and cry
wondering why and how
could you just up and leave
I felt like you stabbed me and
let me eternally bleed!!!
How could anything or anyone
more important than family?
Your parents, children...me?
Only if you knew how much it hurt
that you weren't there to see me
walk across that stage
and then call me later on saying:
"Sweetie I forgot"
made me mad off even more
added more fire to my rage!!!
I write this poem on this special day
to let you know,
continue what you do...
Happy Fathers Day Daddy!!!!!
