The Wanderer We sometimes think, we know not where The pasture is greener than here So with eyes wide open, we move To this place, we know not where We stop along the way to see, if this Is the place we seek, awaken once more With the calling, seeking we know not where For the words flow, Like wine from a bottomless pit But the place is not, As it should be for them So once more, without an ounce of regret We move forward to this place We know not where The journey is long ,our feet hurt so So many steps, so many more yet to go We travel from place to place Only to say, we know not where But when we find it, we will know For a while, the journey has intrigue Then as the wind, loosing its strenght Moving a cloud of white through the sky Of blue, we tire with seeking, what we have Always known within, where is where we are For no where else, is as rewarding as This place, I have shared so many thoughts With arms wide spred, Tara, I return to you Till time is no more |
