Mountain of Tears Made by mother natures hand, She wreaked upon this place We rested our heads, An angel's doll lay queitly now, Piled half way up this mountain, Soaked still with the water Of three weeks old, If one looks close one will find The tears flows from her still On this mountain so high, The mattress she rested her head Lies in this mountain of tears, All torn n twisted, dripping still, Shedding its tears and longing For the place it once was With the angel resting with her once more All the things that fill a home Now lay in this mountain alone, No human companion to cherish it Only the machines now that will Take away its last breath , Crushing the memories that it Cherishes so Miles n miles of this, one can see Five stories high, and still rising More each day is added here One's life lay in full view to see Another doll, another toy truck The love given by them are gone All that is left is to destroy The memories of the child that is no Longer a part of them Pictures, pictures every where A wedding alblum,, a reef of a loved one Christmas lights that will never see light Again, so lonely will it be without them Cabinets , furniture , all over the place Stacked so high on this mountain of tears Seem that within this mountain Some try to console others awaiting the end But the tears still run down the mountain Forming a pool at the base For another to fall into and once more Become another victim for the mountain here One can sit for hours here and see each And every life that was there, so many Stories to be told , now quieten in this place Of no return The mountain only gets larger every day Seems the supply of tears are endless, As the trucks bring them to the mountain here The human souls are found every where They say it will end some day, but will it Ever end , for how can one ever forget what Has happened here , the lost is great , the Horror of such a tragedy, For an angel lost her friend, one she shared So many secrets with, as she reaches out, In what must seem a dark place, For a loving hand, she looks back as they take Her friend away, with tear filled eyes, Waving quietly to her friend, Wishing yesterday was here and Tommorrow never came |
