Cherry Blossom Memories Cherry blossom memories cast pink against vague mist of thought long seconds trapped in reverie one second longer always sought. For how does one measure sorrow if not by comparing to joy? Left weak they wilt come the morrow unused petals only annoy. But held softly in minds fingers they cast free their rosy lightness in them, memories scent lingers and days become filled with brightness. Cherish each of these soft blooms of thought cherry blossom memories for in them the future is caught to be set aloft on hopes breeze. |
