there distant rolls the gypsy nickel spins her shimmer troll of tempt pretending invisible behind her dawn but my hands know her sinful sling o' how they wear the warm like the gloving of a wallow the swallowing of tomorrows parch when the throat is a voiceless poem my pen is but nudity for her mind and she disrobes with wanton yawns dragging the ink zippery with tooth and nailing down the skinend fray lest it blow away shirtsleeve lost needing more to cover than her eyes when she corks her face into my vase and mouths the moments of spending time ______________ daark |

Oh Dark. I imagine your mind to be draped. A thousand small windows holding vast oceans of images. Do tell, Sir. Do you merely draw back a drape, and allow the wonder to pour forth from your fingertips? |

Could envision the sun in slow rise around you this morning D. Oh but, what a temptress she is though huh? Enjoyed the visions through your eyes this morn, you bring such perception with your dark stranger thoughts. *warm hugs* seek the flame within yourself |

Yanno D? Your poetry is so absolutely beautiful that there are times I wish you were a priest. If you could move the soul of all mankind the way you maneuver the average woman's behind in her chair, I do believe you could change the world. |

DS, With your permission I will pause here too. There is no doubt in my mind your concepts and creative talent are unique. There was a time I would not read others' works at all for fear of not developing my own style, fortunately that has now passed. A snippet here, a concept there, Nah, I'm only kiddin'! Doc |

"The road to success is not straight, there is a kerb called failure, a loop called confusion, speed-bumps called friends, and red-lights called enemies. Caution-signs called family, and flat-tires called jobs...but if you have a spear called determination, and a engine called perseverance, with insurance called fate, and the drive to make it, you'll meet a place called success." Cham, 'Rude Boy Pledge'. Excuse me for an apparently random quote, Dark Stranger, but your poem makes me want to write a 'Rude Girl Pledge'. Inspiring Real 'G youth don't fear police cars. |
