How can my heart change so fast? My love for him is now in the past Now when I look at you Everything seems too good to be true I’ve never wanted anything more I’ve never needed anyone to live for I’ve been myself whenever I’m with you I feel like I’m stuck to glue Now that I have someone to impress I go out and buy a new dress I try something new with my hair For me that’s only to rare You’ve changed me for the good Now I do everything I should I love this new feeling inside When was the last time I cried? This is my question for you Do you feel the same way about me? Don’t tell me what is not true Otherwise I can not be set free Is this love or infatuation? Please send me a salutation By Patricia Jarrett |

Hi I was a bit confused when I first read this poem. I got it now, this poem is a letter to someone you like. You are reassuring the new guy by saying that the old guy you used to be with means nothing to you anymore because he was dull and uncaring but that your new love interest is exciting and makes you behave like a women. What will the new guy think about all this I wonder. Sarkany |
