dark night
no moon
ouaouaron making big croak
in bayou
screen door slip open
quiet like

shined leather feet slide on floor
cigar smoke
patchouli fill empty room
lady’s heart listens

dream sheet slips back
bed creaks
long legs creep in
‘tween hers
brown fingers tangle in shadow hair

   miss me
   ma petite fille vilaine

lady sighs
‘gator roars
charcoal man slips lady
little gris gris

um hum

I missed one in my absence and just found it!  It's like finding the last candy bar and just cherishing each sweet bite.  My day is now more happy.  I love them and miss them, you know.

I am SO hopeful we have not heard the end of them.
Mayhaps a sequel?
Yes?

well drat! I have gotten behind on this series since I left for Kansas so I will have to go through and get them all in order so I can maybe print them out to read when I'm away from the computer...

that's a good thought yaknow? Make all of these into a book!! I'd sure buy one!
