This piece was Inspired by a poem I recently read by Rudyard Kipling entitled "If." It is easily one of the most beautiful poems I have read and I encourage all of you to google it.

Should your nervous eyes tremble in the sadness of goodbye
Cry deeply, for your tears hold the memory
Of every dance in mine

Should those tears hit the ground without a soul to watch
Cry slowly, for the fall holds the memory
Of our timeless rise

Should the ground tremble beneath your falling tears
Cry gently, for the earth holds the memory
Of the harvest reaped

Should your eyes turn dry with no tears to bare
Cry not, for in their absence
You will find, my love
That I am there.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the poem. I'm sure I will enjoy many of yours (if I can ever find time to get on these forums more than once every two months). As for the inspiration - it is only growing on me as I read it over and over again.
