When did I first notice you? I can’t quite Recall - was it by a bubbling forest brook? Or perhaps near a serene seashore bright? All I know the ground beneath me shook. Maybe when you wore that summer dress And warm breeze caressed you hair my fingers Yearned to feel, my form to yours would press - Oh, that sweetest yearning!- Still it lingers... Still it lingers, that yearning for your kiss... But how your beauty binds I never knew - Till your soft embrace spelled a divine bliss. Oh, Woman, when did I first notice you? I really can’t recall, but this I find - You've never left the province of my mind. CG |
