LA busy uprooting itself again by handfuls of veggies growing in an inner city garden in a place that once ripped apart its own heart by rioting and acts of desperation it became a haven, maybe a heaven for many hungry families that learned to grow and share bountiful harvests from nature's womb and it's all coming undone, in part because someone vented in ignorance and anger, spouted venom and then asked, no demanded something for nothing and that hit the bulls eye targeting the owner (by real estate law) and he reacted as so many do when feeling cornered "Vengeance IS mine" and he called in the troops (the LAPD) to uproot the community gardens, as he makes plans to recover the good earth with concrete and steel and both sides of the battle seek to steal what doesn't really belong to anyone anyway for when you leave spaceship Earth (thanks Bucky Fuller) you can't take it with you anyway... even when you are buried in the dirt it doesn't belong to you "there must be some way out of here" (thanks Bob) |

"LA busy uprooting itself again" Amen Kacy. Is this the garden where Daryl Hannah got caught up a tree? Wonderfully done and thanks for the reminder of Buckminster Fuller. He's a hero of mine. |

Phil, Haze, Lady..thanks for reading Yes, m'Lady, 'tis about the same garden the mermaid star defended, though it's not about Hannah or Hollyweird. I almost made the title of the poem Garden of Paradise or Hell's Garden. Gawd, I love reading Bucky! |
