Wonder How Far A Bird Can See Over here where I work is mostly asphalt and buildings with a few lovely green areas mixed in pleasing to the eye. Right across the Bay on Ford Island I can see a lush paradise of grass and plants and trees. Still the birds come over here to this asphalt side to feed and to share some time with me. Aw James, you have found a friend in them, and they have found a friend in you. Nicely penned. |

While I find your poem to be beautiful. I am not so sure about your choice of the ways you placed your words as Capital letters. I just find the layout and presentation of this poem lets it down a poet who cares |

makes me remember the birds at my work...and squirrels that would come eat right out of my hand |

James....could it be that the grass is greener for both of you on the other side? I really liked this poem! |

it's an enigma why they would fly to asphalt unless you are giving them something they are lacking across the Bay either way, enjoy the moment for we can't tell how long birds will enjoy such freedom |
