Disdain drips from his nose like her blood from his hands as she lies broken at his feet crying...begging...no more. With one last kick from his booted foot he shoves her aside and goes to wash his hands at the sink. Passing the table, there a broken plate with the remains of his dinner the "reason" for this outrage his meat not quite to his liking. Her hands cover her face stained red her throat raw from her screams her arms and face purpled and swollen she whispers...no more. And when they finally break down the door, to find him at his desk, poisoned glass in hand and she-mind gone-on the floor whispering still....no more. |

no more nothingness, no more disbelief, no more counting sheep...its the key to nothingness mother Hollow heroes seperate as they run...Shadows linger in your pain dead and done |

It's hard for me to respond to poems that are so blunt as this...not because they are don't affect me, but because I have a low tolerance for the negative and because I have seen this myself to a lesser degree though caused from alcohol. Definitely a strong poem. M |
