5466 Father of Heavenly Want 11 June 2006 Even small memories are good those moments to think of time A father and daughter, happiness at play an age in younger years, a loss never to die Her heaven, her heart felt murmur the way her soul reaches forward This outlook, an opportunity to kind her way of being, eyes within to view Forever seeing, eternity to brave never to be brazen, as to insolent Void of restraint, not to criticize, yet to love, memories of gold, moulded in brass ornamentation Her beauty, her warmth, a solitude unrequited this love unanswered, but through Christ His hand, her Father of heavenly want reaching out, and held nearby, special to her alone “All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.” Luke 10: 22 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

thank you for your kind words. the poem was written for a young girl in India, who mourns her father and we must always hold these loved ones, even seemingly lost to this earth, close to our hearts a poet who cares |
