Moonbeams-Jessie Wilcox-Smith . Watch for me... when the moon is full, I shall come. Do not be alarmed if no leaf is harmed... or turned in the coming. I never make much noise You know that. Just watch for the homing curve of a sparrow's wing... In the singing night ~ Or the final smallest ripple as the waves slip slumbering into the sand.. Or the first firefly. Small lights wait for the night sometimes... So small they need the moon to help... because this shining is serious business You know that. Watch for me... When the moon is full and never pull at this or that lever to bring me.. You will only tire and I require... A certain freedom Of coming and going. So when the rest have gone... Linger on- Sit upon the largest rock... You will feel me breathe just behind your ear Know my hand is on your shoulder... gently turning you toward my moon, Wait.. And I shall tell you in a whisper "Isn't that just great?" Watch for me When the moon is full. . |

OhEnchantedOne~ This ... this ... is the breath of a *sigh* waiting for a place to happen ... know that it happened here ~ 'So when the rest have gone... Linger on- Sit upon the largest rock... You will feel me breathe just behind your ear' ... and I will wait~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

At times we take the moon for granted, because maybe it is always there in some form. While you poem is a reminder of the beauty of nature and why we need to stop and open our eyes to our surrounding environment from time to time a poet who cares |

This touches the heart Tinker. It speaks of love and hope and a promise to be kept. "Watch for me... when the moon is full, I shall come." I'll be waiting... believe in what your heart feels... |

Such a calm feeling you've given that waiting period, you know, the time 'in between' when the time isn't exactly right. I think I'll book this so that next time I become impatient, I might feel its gentle calm. Lovely writing, Enchantress. misce |

After reading your poem, I ask myself? Have I not waited for lifetimes? Indeed a beautiful poem. |

Nancy, So precious and gentle is the moon's little companion here in your poem... Lovely writing. The verse from your poem that spoke to me the most was... quote: Oh, how I do know this to be true. God Bless. -Bob |

(sigh) Awwwwwwwww, this is sooooooooo serene and pretty, sweet friend, this feels like sooooooo many of the dreams I have, where I'm in colorful, dreamy environments and wait for my dream girl or more imagination to beam through, yay! (smiles) I love this, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Nancy, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
