Bitterness flooded the gorge of my heart as the sting of a thousand thoughts fell upon my face, waiting for the weight of silence to buckle the knelt pillar of courage. Could the shimmer of an eye again light the sky of darkened dreams while heavy lips slur the slumbering moan of despair? For the moon rides the lathered beast in search of whispering winds as the rhythmic tick of time hangs heavy in the shadows and the wool’s itch carries the dampness of waters that have caressed the smouldering bridge of silent reflect as the dog's cry awaits the gleam of eye. |
