Halcyon Eyes We gathered silently before the blue skin of dawn stitched itself to the arms of naked trees warmed our bodies with wool yarns and yellow fires, the smoke lingering like the scent of jasmine ambled arm in arm over emerald grasses sleeping ‘neath the calm of cotton seas laced fingers together, we quietly wept, our halcyon eyes echoing people and places far away Robert Edward Levin |

Very mystic in my opinion. "laced fingers together, we quietly wept, our halcyon eyes echoing people and places far away" The contrast of weeping and halcyon eyes was disconcerting... I was left with a deep feeling of sorrow for both of them. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

I felt total peace, as if the couple were miraculously melded within harmony, weeping for those who were not, so far far away...like they were in total bliss in a world of their own... wonderful!!! |
