Night descends and rain I hear darkness speak softly of rhythm and currents Breath shallows, essence hallowed among quiet lisping and seeping shadows, float feathers, laughter reminisced Stolen from wind, unfurled white sails, and midnight oceans' dancing incalescent moon tides |

My pleasure, Magnus. I am just happy to feel my fingers move on the keyboard again! But the magic of the wee hours is a good catalyst when sleep eludes me. Klassy |

Thank you, Dixie. Good morning! The soft thrumming of the rain can be very nice, sometimes entrancing, yes? |

You've basically done a multi-dimensional and waited to see if anyone knew For readers take the first set of words from each line, then the second then as you move down, you note one has a fourth line and reading it on the fourth pass, you have the end of the poem dave |

To me this poem captures the state between awake and asleep. Very imaginative. PLEASE VISIT MY REGULARLY UPDATED WEB SITE http://www.anthonyarmstrong.zoomshare.com |

"I hear darkness speak" ~ and so do your words, Ms Klassy! I love the night! But I also love the morning so my sleeptime is often compromised! Loves 'n hugs, Linda |

Bodger, I just wrote. I didn't think about it until I added the title afterward. You know how some writes just seem to be given. This was like that. Thank you for taking the time for me. ~ Klassy |

Will Rhyme, on occasion my muse surprises me. Thank you. Shirtless, you are very adept in your assumption. I got up to write it down. LOL A professor once told me to stay awake for three or four days, that I'd be amazed at the creativity my brain would produce. I just got a migraine --thought disconnected big time. |

I love morning, too, Earth Angel. In the summertime, nights are so magical. Much of the year, though, the weather is cool here and rain is frequent. It's like a mantra in the dark, soothing and mesmerizing. Enjoy your starry nights. love you, K. |
