and will you hear? …and will you hear me… whisper 'thank you for reading' …seeing your reply… for I am learning connection through E S P soothes my soul so well …and will you hear me… hoping you mean what you say …when you feel my words… for I am writing to touch your spirit lightly to lift it gently …and should you feel it… compassion, enfolding you …and calm, engulfing… then truthfully say we are poets of the heart and write, then, for me A thank you, to all the readers, who leave responses of kindness, hope, a gesture for those who love to write, a reason to continue doing so...for a writer is nothing if a reader is turned away... 24 February 2002 " It matters not this distance now " Excerpt, Yesterday's Love |

Bravo, Karilea.....this is a poet's creed for sure and I absolutely love it! And yes, I do feel your words. Since I joined PIP in 1999, you were one of the first to greet me and support me and your poetry has always touched me, inspired me and impressed me. I can't remember if I ever saved this poem before, but I'm saving it in my library now Melissa~ Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |

Without question dear Sun, a poets words are nothing...if not enjoyed and read... absorbed into the soul of the reader. You do it very well, always have. |

My heart is open... and your words are soft and gentle, like the music of a brook seeking it's path to the river on out to the ocean, where a drop becomes one with a much larger body. I feel this way, too, when I can write with my innerself, which has been difficult to express these past few weeks. You say it so well. Klassy |

I believe I was more touched by this line ...for a writer is nothing if a reader is turned away... a poet who cares |

Hear? You'd better believe it! But you're right, that felt connection is so vibrant and alive when it exists at all, that poetry becomes both unnecessary and all-pervasive. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Glad that I stopped in if only to express my own agreement with your desired goal to somehow touch and lift one's spirit. I do know that you have certainly touched and lifted my spirit on occasion and for this I hope to express a most humble 'your welcome' to your whisper. -Bob |

What a lovely, lovely echo from a poets heart. All I can say is when I read you, I hear you too, not just the words but the healing behind them. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
