5047 Brothers in Soul 08 February 2006 Two brothers in earth side by side in one heart to share Each in unison of a common corner to grave their headstones telling the tale of love Time passed in years of family a smile upon one in amour To know in all his years united with his brother at last Born in Nineteen Fifty Two and seven days to a week Another in second coming foundered in Nineteen Fifty Three Two brothers united in soul together in ways of kind Seeking and searching the heavens as to at last into each others arms entwined “dedicated to the memories of” John Keith Herbert” (09 May 1952 - 14 May 1952) Jonathan Oliver Herbert (20 July 1953 - 23 April 1998) © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
