absolute stillness lingers
after the words
human images
pulsing silence
curving around
breast of urge
painting abstracts
with your breathe
towering above
it’s own super powers
summing up
what was lost
now found
between the teeth
of global warming
and our past
betrayals, alienations, despairs
exploring uncertainties
day-to-day consuming passions
fortified us
in our own version of
body painting design

high wire admiration
for an immense scent
of the
physical change
of years
that lay down
beside me
fondly wrapping around
in waves of
intuitive exactness
& mysticism
a hero’s quest
for a coy mistress
mapping the edges of love

and there you are....

I am
a pair of eyes
filling a woman’s place
soapy water
sponges back
epiphanies
on a ladder
of personal
confession
do they always have to rhyme?

happy hours of enthusiasm
climbing on a train
laying emotions bare
like a cry in the night
of a true mind
a small hat
finely knotted
with draped ideas
about love
trust
accountability
in a mundane life
of sand dunes

spilling over
an oasis of lustrous
tenderness
and yes
memories are miracles
even if only
one thread

full circle
acts of faith
addicted to
all that remains
risks in life
plenty of attitude
stalking hourly games

sweep me into your arms
what exquisite torture
every kiss
becomes enticement
for more

yes, indeed,
I’ve become his mistress
bought and paid for...
he is my genetic decision
worth fighting for
