Walking On The Wind In the distance, Trees glimmer in the breath of evening Dancing about the promise of cool, clear night Bathed in gold and silver songs Where carries my heart The staff and clef of a contented sound Movement beyond the truth of endings Beginning, in rise of a nocturnal sun Rise as the moon Full and creamy breast of velvet sky Glinting trepidation smoothed and lifted up Silken aria carries within, the whispers of a breeze Each an uneven foot My step upon the fragrance left Movement without effort, faint and soft Carried here, to be amid exhaled fall Our souls, walking on the wind Copyright Kkh 08/31/06 |

As August mourns, September comes in as a light featherweight of time to be remembered, enlightened in the dawning of some soon to be.... this poem creates that moment, and very well indeed. Thank you, Kathleen. You gave some inspiration here....but then, you do that time, and time again. Well done. |
