5660 To Tania with Amour 30 August 2006 For what were feelings those that unite The feelings of two an acceptance in flight Like the Falcon to its prey a bird on the wing In her tallness and wonder to see a model of perfection, be what you can be The potential for love a freedom to behold Where communication was contact and the age of shivery was never too old From the starlight in the sky to the rhythm of your heart This desire of amour, the blue in your name as if tomorrow the trees would blossom and your smile would set love free “And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.” Alma 32: 21 BOOK OF MORMON © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
